ECI Inspects Poll Preparedness Ahead of Jharkhand Assembly Elections
The Chief Minister stated that while the Election Commission of India (ECI) will decide the date for the elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is fully prepared for the electoral battle.
He underlined that the BJP is ready to contest the elections and has already begun strategic discussions with regional parties like the All Jharkhand Students Union (AJSU) and Janata Dal (United).
Himanta Biswa Sarma mentioned that the public sentiment in Jharkhand is leaning towards change, indicating that the BJP sees an opportunity to challenge the incumbent government.
