Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha has expressed gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma for donating Rs 5 crore to assist the flood victims in the state.

The donation was presented by Assam Tourism Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah, to Manik Saha at his official residence in Agartala.
Taking to microblogging platform X, the Tripura CM wrote, “My sincere thanks and gratitude to Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and the Government of Assam for coming forward to help the flood victims.”
Manik Saha further mentioned that at his official residence, Jayanta Mallabaruah, on behalf of the Assam government, donated Rs 5 crore to aid the flood victims. “I am also very thankful to Jayanta Mallabaruah,” he added.
