PM Modi Will Avoid Manipur, Misuse Law Enforcement Agencies And Try To Bend Indian Constitution: Gaurav Gogoi

Mohan Bhagwat on Monday stressed on the need to move past election rhetoric and prioritize resolving the Manipur crisis.

During an RSS event in Nagpur, Bhagwat said that Manipur has been awaiting peace for over a year, and the situation in the state demands immediate attention.

“It has been over a year since Manipur has been waiting for peace. The state remained peaceful for the last 10 years, but suddenly, gun culture has taken over. It is important to resolve the conflict as a priority,” he said.

Reacting to the RSS chief’s remarks, Gaurav Gogoi said, “I do not expect Prime Minister Modi to pay any attention to the words of RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat.”

“Prime Minister Modi will avoid Manipur, misuse law enforcement agencies and try to bend the Indian constitution. Thankfully the people have chosen the INDIA alliance to speak up on its behalf and defend the Indian Parliament and the constitution,” he added.
