Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday registered a win in Varanasi parliamentary constituency for the third time in a row.
PM Modi Wins From Uttar Pradesh’s Varanasi Lok Sabha Seat
The Prime Minister got 6,12,970 (54.24%) votes with a margin of 1,52,513 against Uttar Pradesh Congress president Ajay Rai, according to Election Commission of India data.
There were six other candidates in the fray besides PM Modi, but his main challenger was Congress’ Ajay Rai. He had to settle for 4,60,457 (40.74%) votes.
