Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma And Union Minister Nitin Gadkari To Campaign In Odisha On May 9

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Union Minister of Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari will be visiting Odisha on May 9 to campaign for the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).

The Assam CM will address public gatherings in Malkangiri, Khallikote and Chitrakonda while Nitin Gadkari in Puri and Krushnaprasad.

CM Sarma on Tuesday cast his vote in Amingaon polling station for Barpeta Parliamentary Constituency.

Speaking to media persons, the Assam CM on Tuesday said, “Today is the last day of the Assam Lok Sabha elections. We have completed it peacefully. We recorded almost 80 per cent voter turnout in the first two phases. I thank the whole of Assam for peaceful voting. I am sure that the people of Assam will support a Bharat that will become Vishwa Guru and achieve the goals in Amrit Kaal.”
