Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the people of Tripura virtually from Delhi on February 24. This was informed by Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha.

Manik Saha said that PM Modi’s address to the people of the state will be a part of “Viksit Bharat Viksit Tripura” reach-out programme. “PM Narendra Modi will address the people of Tripura virtually from Delhi on February 24,” he said.

Underscoring the achievement of the Narendra Modi-led government at the Centre over the past almost ten years, he said the Prime Minister has ensured as many as six national highways being constructed in the Northeastern state.

“Within the framework of the Act East policy, the inauguration of the Maitri Setu, linking Bangladesh has taken place in Sabroom, South Tripura. Additionally, plans for establishing a Special Economic Zone in Sabroom are underway. The anticipated operationalization of the bridge will significantly alter the landscape of the state, facilitating direct connectivity to the Chittagong port in Bangladesh,” Manik Saha said.
