Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Mizoram CM Lalduhoma met over a meal in Guwahati.
Several key issues were discussed by both Chief Ministers. “A wide range of developmental issues were discussed during the meeting,” the Assam Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) informed.
This was for the first time after being sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Mizoram that Lalduhoma met Himanta Biswa Sarma.
The Assam CM termed his meeting with his Mizoram counterpart Lalduhoma as a “bonding over breakfast”.
“We engaged in various discussions to ensure continued peace and progress between our two states,” Himanta Biswa Sarma said after the meeting.
