The Assam Cabinet has approved a new bill aimed at development of the tourism sector of the state.
Assam Cabinet Approves New Bill For Tourism Sector Growth
The Assam Cabinet approved the Assam Tourism (Development And Registration) Bill, 2024 to regulate the tourism sector in the state.
Informing this, Assam Minister Jayanta Mallabaruah said that the bill will be introduced in the upcoming (budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly.
“This bill will be introduced in the upcoming budget session of the Assam Legislative Assembly. The bill will bring benefits such as ensuring economic growth through the development of tourism in Assam,” Jayanta Mallabaruah said.
The cabinet meeting was chaired by Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on January 31.
