Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is running away from a debate on the issue of the recent security breach at the Parliament.

Reacting to PM Modi’s statement on the major security breach at the Parliament, Jairam Ramesh said that the PM Modi is running away from a debate and that questions would be raised on Mysuru Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MP Pratap Simha’s role in letting the intruders inside the Parliament.
“The PM is running away from a debate for a very simple reason. Questions will be raised on the role of the Mysuru BJP MP Pratap Simha in facilitating the entry of the intruders into the Lok Sabha on December 13,” said Jairam Ramesh, taking to platform X.
Earlier, reacting to the parliament security breach incident, PM Modi said that there is “no need to debate” this and that a “detailed investigation” should be carried out.
“The seriousness of the incident in Parliament should not be underestimated at all. Therefore, the Speaker is taking the necessary steps with utmost seriousness,” an article with Dainik Jagran quoted PM Modi as saying.
