‘Childish’: Assam CM Slams Opposition Bloc INDIA’s Media Boycott

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma on September 16 slammed the Opposition bloc INDIA over their decision to boycott shows of 14 television anchors on several platforms and termed the move “childish”.

Will Send Congress To Moon To Form Government There: CM Sarma

Speaking to the media in Madhya Pradesh’s Jabalpur, CM Sarma said, “This boycott and media censorship can be traced back to 1975. It is not new.”

“For any reason, if the Congress government comes to power, the media will get censored, but ISRO has made the Chandrayaan at the right time. I will send the entire Congress party to the moon to form a government there. This is childish,” the Chief Minister said.

Taking a dig at former Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Kamal Nath, CM Sarma said, “Who else in the world has a more tired face than Congress leader Kamal Nath?”

“INDIA alliance has openly opposed Hindus. I hope people will take cognisance of this and vote accordingly,” he further added.
