Smriti Irani Launches Scathing Attack On Opposition

Smriti Irani singled out Congress leader Rahul Gandhi, holding him responsible for “putting Manipur on fire”.

During the Question Hour, Congress MP Amee Yajnik raised concerns about the violence in Manipur and asked if women ministers would address the issue.

In response, Smriti Irani slammed the opposition parties for turning a blind eye to atrocities against women in non-BJP-ruled states.

“When will you have the guts to discuss Rajasthan? When will you have the courage to talk about what’s happening in Bihar? When will you have the courage to talk about the Red Diary?” Irani questioned.

She emphasized that they have spoken out on not just Manipur but also Rajasthan, Chhattisgarh, and Bihar.
