As per the Assam State Disaster Management Authority (ASDMA) report, there have been no reported casualties in the past 24 hours.

The ASDMA stated that the water levels of Beki (Road Bridge), Disang (Nanglamuraghat), and Brahmaputra (Dhubri, Nimati Ghat) are above the danger level.

Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, taking note of the situation, tweeted, “The Royal Government of Bhutan has informed us that tonight there will be an excess release of water from the Kurichhu Dam. We have alerted our district administrations  to remain vigilant and assist the people in every possible way in case the water breaches the Beki and Manas rivers.”
