A massive fire broke out in the wee hours of Wednesday morning at the cancer centre in Dibrugarh after an electric transformer caught fire.
Massive Fire Takes Place Near Hospital’s Electric Transformer
Reportedly, the incident happened on June 7 at around 4 am near the hospital’s electric transformer. There may have been a transformer short circuit.
Firemen rushed to the spot and put out the fire. No injuries have been recorded so far.
It is mentioned the Assam Cancer Care Foundation is in charge of overseeing the cancer hospital that is situated on the Assam Medical College Campus.
