It is mentioned the Guwahati bypass has advanced ahead of schedule, with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) aiming to complete the significant road expansion project by December.
This includes four flyovers and one vehicular underpass (VUP). The project is being carried out at a cost of Rs 300 crore, and work began on March 3, 2022.
According to reports, 14.32 km of the 16.45 km length of the highway that is being converted from four to six lanes has been completed. The project’s physical development to date has been 59%.
