National Poetry Festival is considered as one of the esteemed poetry festivals held in the state of Assam. National Poetry Festival-2 has been gracefully hosted on Sunday at The University Of Science And Technology, Meghalaya (USTM).

The prestigious poetry festival has been organised by the River And Women, a poet community recognised by the Kohinoor World Book of Records.
Their slogan is: Save River, Save Women. Notably, Ronaldo Taid, the founder of River And Women, has hoisted the flag at the ceremony.
Many renowned poets from various parts across the world, including Nepal, Kolkata, Darjeeling were present at the event. Several books were also launched by some eminent personalities. Wishing this poet community all the luck for the upcoming endeavours!
