As many as seven business establishments were gutted down in a massive fire in Assam’s Hojai district on April 30.
Massive Fire In Assam’s Hojai
According to sources, the fire erupted in front of Purana Bazaar Vishal Market in Hojai. The fire is suspected to have erupted due to a short circuit in an electronic shop named Arfan Electronics.
Reportedly, properties worth crores of rupees have been destroyed in the massive fire. Five fire tenders from Hojai, Dabaka and Lanka fire services reached the spot after being informed about the incident.
The Police along with the cooperation of the fire fighting personnel managed to douse the massive fire. No injuries or casualties have been reported in the inferno.
