Salman Khan‘s latest track Yentamma from Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan has not gone down well with a section over online platforms.
Salman Khan’s Yentamma Song Slammed
The Hindi-Telugu fusion number features Salman, Venkatesh Daggubati and Ram Charan in a special appearance.
Sung by Vishal Dadlani and Payal, with rap portions by Raftaar, the song has the three actors dancing wearing their lungi to the energetic beats.
Former cricketer Laxman Sivaramakrishnan took to Twitter and wrote that makers of the film showed a classical outfit like lungi in a disgusting manner in the video. “This is highly ridiculous and degrading our South Indian culture. This is not a lungi, This is a dhoti. A classical outfit which is being shown in a disgusting manner.”
Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan is scheduled to release on April 21. The action-comedy also stars Shehnaaz Gill, Raghav Juyal and Siddharth Nigam.
