Apurva Asrani, a screenwriter and editor, said that Sushant was written off by those in the business who didn’t want to see him develop.
“Sushant was overlooked for awards. Despite the fact that he was speaking intelligently, many mistook his remarks for mental illness,” he continued.
It is mentioned Priyanka Chopra, while speaking at a global event, said that she felt cornered in the industry.
In this regard, Apurva Asrani said, “Anybody who is outspoken, who refuses to be insulted, who doesn’t demean themselves by subscribing to their retrograde notions, they are forced into a corner.”
