On March 25, a major road accident that happened at Teok in Jorhat district injured at least 22 female tea workers.
Tea Workers Injured In Road Mishap
The tea workers were injured when the car carrying them lost control and tipped over on the side of the road.
The accident was reported near the Meleng Tea Estate, Teok. The incident happened since the tea workers were being brought for their regular duties.
As per the inputs, Jorhat Medical College and Hospital (JMCH) received a rush of injured tea workers for treatment.
