Will Bring Systematic Change In SEBA: Education Minister Ranoj Pegu

“If any systematic change is needed in the Board of Secondary Education, Assam (SEBA), we will bring about this change,” stated State Education Minister Ranoj Pegu in front of media.

Systematic Change In SEBA

“From next year onwards, the question papers of the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) will not be sent to the in-charge of the examination centres because this year, the question papers were leaked by the exam centre in-charge,” the Education Minister stated on March 24.

”The government will meet all stakeholders concerned to come up with a new question paper distribution system. Teachers, students and their guardians- all must reform themselves because teachers had leaked the questions papers, students had bought the question papers and their guardians had given them money to buy the leaked question papers,” he further continued.

”Reforms will first be needed in this sector. If there is any irregularity in the SEBA, we will resolve the issue. Our focus should be to protect our education system from corruption and malpractices,” the Education Minister concluded.
