Amit Shah To Inaugurate Assam Rifles Complex In Mizoram On April 1

Union Home Minister Amit Shah will inaugurate the Assam Rifles Complex and lay the cornerstone for the Laldenga Culture Center in Mizoram on April 1.

As per the officials, the Assam Rifles’ headquarters structure will be opened at Zokhawsang. It is noted the 510 km of Mizoram’s border with Myanmar has been patrolled by the Assam Rifles.

In this regard, an Assam Rifles officer stated, ”We have repeatedly reminded the state government that relocation of the battalion headquarters from Zodin to Zokhawsang is not desired unless all lingering difficulties and incomplete facilities are resolved and completed.”

Meanwhile, the office of the Mizoram Chief Minister wrote on microblogging platform Twitter, “Chief Minister Zoramthanga met Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his office today. Chief Minister expressed gratitude to the Hon’ble Union Home Minister on his promise to inaugurate Assam Rifles Bn Complex at Zokhawsang and lay the foundation stone for Laldenga Cultural Centre.”
