On March 26, Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and Election Commissioners Anup Chandra Pandey and Arun Goel will arrive in Guwahati for a public hearing.
ECI Team To Arrive In Assam
Notably, the Election Commission of India (ECI) team will be in Assam from March 26 to March 28. The team will meet all Deputy Commissioners, and representatives of political parties to gather first-hand information.
The team will also interact with public representatives, representatives of civil societies and social organizations on March 27.
It is mentioned the ECI has been asked by the Ministry of Law & Justice to conduct the delimitation of Parliamentary and Assembly Constituencies in the state.
