Assam’s Board of Secondary Education (SEBA) directs re-examinations for 760 students from the centre at JR Higher Secondary School, Ganirgram, Cachar.

It is noted the distribution of cheating materials to the exam takers was shown in several videos that went viral on social media platforms on March 3.
As per a SEBA order released on March 6, a section of candidates were alleged to have used unfair methods while taking the English subject examination on March 3.
“These malpractices used in the test centre jeopardised the integrity of the examination; as a result, all 760 students from that centre must reappear for the English subject in the Compartmental Examination, 2023, which will be held in due course,” the order further added.
