Manipur: A Group Of Protesting PG Students Lathi-Charged By Police

Police initiate lathi charge against a group of PG students of Dhanamanjuri University to put an end to their attempt to seize control of the university’s administrative building on March 6.

As per the inputs, a large group of PG students from colleges linked with Dhanamanjuri University demanded that the classification of PG and UG professors be resolved as soon as possible.

Placards with the messages “Resolve the teacher classification issue,” “Let students study,” “DMU authority, manage the academic calendar properly,” “Save the students’ careers” were displayed by the students.

According to the reports, the PG students attempted to padlock the administration building, claiming that the Dhanamanjuri University authority refused to respond to their prior demand regarding academic semester.
