Mizoram Police constable shot two of his co-workers on duty. As per the reports, the incident happened in the Buarchep oil palm camp on March 5.

Notably, Buarchep oil palm camp is located near the boundary between Assam and Mizoram. The accused cop has been identified as Bimal Kanti Chakma.
According to the reports, Bimal Kanti Chakma got into a fight with Indra Kumar Rai and J. Lalrohlua for unexplained reasons while allegedly intoxicated.
Bimal Kanti Chakma allegedly fired a lot of shots at the pair. J. Lalrohlua passed away right away after the shooting. Indra Kumar Rai passed away as he was being transported to a neighbouring hospital.
