Guwahati Municipal Corporation on March 6 announced in a press statement that the supply of potable water to few regions served by the Guwahati Jal Board will end on March 31. It is noted the choice was made in response to the Guwahati Municipal Corporation’s old water supply schemes.
GMC To Stop Water Supply In Few Areas
The water supply users are being urged by the Guwahati Municipal Corporation to choose a new water connection from the Guwahati Jal Board as soon as feasible.
All water supply users can request online access to the Guwahati Jal Board app or the website www.gmdwsb.in through the Google Play Store.
“In order to provide dependable and secure water to all Guwahati citizens, the Guwahati Jal Board has been working to upgrade and modernise its water delivery infrastructure,” reads the statement.
