5-month-old baby was assaulted by his own father named Anikesh Goswami in Kahilipara, Guwahati. It is mentioned the father is accused of abusing his baby for an unspecified cause.

The baby is currently receiving treatment at Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH). The baby is crying regularly, stated the medical professionals.
