Assam: CM Vigilance Team Raids Goalpara Drug Inspector’s Office

Goalpara Drug Inspector’s office has been raided by the Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Squad on February 28. As per the inputs, the Police have detained two employees.

It is mentioned the arrested staff had requested Rs 19,000 for a pharmacy licence. A pharmacist named Mohibul Islam was asked for money by the employees.

The individuals have been identified as Dipjit Sarkar and Ansaar Ali. According to the reports, they have each taken an advance payment of Rs 4000.

In the meantime, Assam’s Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption Cell officials caught the Lat Mandal of South Salmara Revenue Circle red-handed on March 1. As per the inputs, the Lat Mandal asked the complainant for money in relation to land mutation.
