A massive explosive detonation happened in Imphal, Manipur on February 26. As per the inputs, a labourer was hurt in the explosion.
Bomb Blast In Imphal
It is mentioned a hand grenade was thrown towards the residence gate of an assistant engineer for Manipur Public Works Department at Thangmeiband Muchi Khul Maisnam Leikai by unidentified individuals.
The engineer named Nandeibam Ingocha was not at home when the incident happened. A 33-year old labourer from Bihar named Bikas Kumar suffered injuries to his left leg as a result of the explosive detonation.
As per the reports, Bikash Kumar was transported urgently to the Regional Institute of Medical Sciences in Imphal. Notably, he was employed as a labourer in the assistant engineer’s house.
