In Hailakandi district, a married woman was sexually assaulted by a science teacher at Kuchila High School. As per the inputs, the teacher has been arrested. The victim woman filed a report on February 21.
School Teacher Arrested In Hailakandi
The teacher has been identified as Siddharth Shekhar. In this regard, the victim claimed that the teacher had touched her inappropriately and also tried to rape her.
The accused teacher is currently being questioned at the Hailakandi Police Station. Meanwhile, an Army officer has been detained on suspicion of being connected to a murder case in Tezpur.
According to the sources, the army officer had some sort of love angle with the deceased woman. Several alarming incidents have occurred in the last few days that shook the state.
