Punjab Police started an operation towards the arrest of Amritpal Singh. As per the latest reports, Amritpal Singh was apprehended after a high-speed chase.
Amritpal Singh Detained By Punjab Police
It is mentioned Amritpal Singh is a radical preacher and head of the Waris Punjab De. Amritpal Singh has been considered as the major challenge for the Bhagwant Mann-led Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab.
Amritpal Singh has been attacking the Punjab Chief Minister and Aam Aadmi Party with several mentions. It is noted Waris Punjab De is a separatist Khalistani pressure group in Punjab which was founded by actor-activist Deep Sidhu.
It needs to be mentioned the family of Deep Sidhu distanced themselves from Waris Punjab De saying none of them nominated Amritpal Singh as the successor.
Meanwhile, Amritpal Singh’s father Tarsem Singh on March 19 claimed Amritpal Singh has already been arrested by the Punjab Police and the Police were lying that he was absconding.
