Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge along with party leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will address a massive rally on December 28 in Maharashtra’s Nagpur city, which will be held on the occasion of the party’s foundation day.
Congress To Give New Path For India’s Progress: KC Venugopal
Congress general secretary KC Venugopal announced the rally on December 15 and said over 10 lakh party workers from across the country would be in attendance. He chaired a meeting with leaders of the Maharashtra Congress in Nagpur.
The recent major security breach at the Parliament and the suspension of 14 MPs for the remainder of the Winter Session were discussed during the meeting.
After the meeting, KC Venugopal said, “Through this rally, we will send a strong message to each and every Indian that this will not be allowed to go on any further and the Congress will give a new path for India’s progress.”
“The entire country is in pain because of unemployment, price rise, hatred and a collapse of India’s democratic institutions,” he added.
