Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) leader Lalduhoma on December 4 said that he is not surprised with the results for the Mizoram Assembly polls.

The ZPM leader and the Chief Ministerial candidate said that he is not surprised with the results as it has met his expectations. “I am not surprised this is what I expected. Let the full results come out. The counting process is going on,” he said.
The Zoram People’s Movement (ZPM) has been declared the winner in 27 seats, surpassing the halfway mark in the 40-seat Assembly.
Over 80 per cent of the state’s 8.57 lakh voters exercised their franchise in Mizoram. A total of 174 candidates, including 18 women, were in the fray in the 40-member Mizoram Assembly.
