Head coach Rahul Dravid on November 30 said that he is yet of officially sign the new contract that would allow him to continue as the head coach of the senior national men’s team.

‘Nothing’s Out Officially’: Rahul Dravid On Tenure Of Extended Contract As India Head Coach

Rahul Dravid agreed to an extended contract as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) made it official on November 29.

When asked if he would continue beyond the T20 World Cup in 2024, Rahul Dravid said that he would learn about it after signing the official contract with the BCCI.

Rahul Dravid was appointed as India’s head coach on a 2-year contract in 2021. His tenure ended after the 2023 World Cup.

The BCCI had ‘productive discussions’ with Rahul Dravid before announcing his extension. “I haven’t yet signed a contract with the BCCI but had discussions on tenure. Once I get the papers, I will sign,” Rahul Dravid said after a review meeting which involved chief selector Ajit Agarkar and BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
