BCCI Announces Squad For T20I Series Against Australia, Assam’s Riyan Parag Left Out Despite Excellent Run In SMAT

Riyan Parag, the cricketing talent from Assam, has been left out of the India’s squad that has been announced for the upcoming T20I series against Australia, which is set to begin on November 23 in Visakhapatnam.

Riyan Parag has been left out of the India’s squad despite him being in excellent form. He scored seven consecutive half centuries in the recently concluded Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT).

The Men’s Selection Committee announced the squad for the upcoming IDFC First Bank 5-match T20I series against Australia.

The India’s squad for the match will include Suryakumar Yadav as captain. Shreyas Iyer will join the squad as vice-captain for the last two T20Is in Raipur and Bengaluru.

The Assam Cricket Association (ACA) has confirmed that the 3rd T-20 match between India and Australia will be hosted at the ACA Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati on November 28,
