Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar will attend a special programme at Cotton University on October 30. On the same day, Dhankhar will participate in a one-hour interactive session with the professors, students and staff of the University.
Guwahati Traffic Police Issued Notice Imposing Certain Restrictions On Movement Of Vehicles
University Chancellor and Governor of Assam Gulab Chand Kataria, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma and Education Minister Ranoj Pegu will be present on the occasion.
Ahead of the visit of Dhankhar, Guwahati Traffic Police on October 28 issued a notice imposing certain restrictions on the movement of vehicles to ensure public safety.
The following restrictions on the movement of vehicles have been imposed:
Plying of commercial goods carrying vehicles of four wheels and above shall be restricted on NH-27 and NH-17 falling under Guwahati City from 8am to 8pm on October 30.
Plying of commercial goods carrying vehicles of three wheels and above shall be restricted on AT Road, DG Road, MG Road, Tyabullah Road, GNB Road, B. Barooah Road and GS Road from 7am to 4pm on October 30.
