The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on October 16 filed a charge sheet against six accused and a report against a juvenile before a special CBI Court at Guwahati in Manipur parading video case.

A mob on May 4 allegedly entered B Phainom village in the Kangpokpi district, vandalised and set houses ablaze, committed murders, sexually assaulted women.
Two family members of one of the victims were also allegedly killed in the incident. A charge sheet was filed before the Special Judge, CBI Court, Guwahati designated as per the orders of the Supreme Court.
Reportedly, three women were paraded naked and a 21-year-old woman was allegedly gang-raped by the mob.
At least 178 people have been killed and 50,000 displaced in the violence and ethnic clashes between Kuki community and Meitei community which erupted on May 3 in the Churachandpur town.
