Charred Body Of Terrorist Recovered From Anantnag, Say Sources

The security forces have recovered a charred body of a terrorist from Anantnag in Jammu and Kashmir on September 18, sources said.

The security force personnel believe the charred body belongs to the terrorist, based on the clothing pattern on the body.

Efforts to trace the bodies of a soldier and another terrorist, which were spotted via drone in another location, are underway.

The Anantnag operation have seen the use of hi-tech equipment for surveillance and delivery of firepower.

Indian Army Colonel Manpreet Singh, Major Aashish Dhonchak, and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of Jammu and Kashmir Police Himanyun Muzamil Bhat were killed in an encounter with terrorists at Gadole in Kokernag area of Anantnag district.
