Shah Rukh Khan’s film ‘Jawan’ is doing exceptionally good business at the box office. On its opening weekend, the film minted Rs 287 crore in India.
‘Jawan’ Is A Box Office Winner
The film went on to witness the biggest opening day in the history of Hindi cinema by minting Rs 129.06 crore worldwide.
According to trade reports, ‘Jawan’ had an overall 70.77 per cent occupancy on Sunday. ‘Jawan’ released worldwide in theatres on September 7 in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu.
Directed by Atlee, the film features Shah Rukh Khan along with Vijay Sethupathi, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra and Priyamani. Deepika Padukone is seen in an extended cameo.
‘Jawan’ was shot across Pune, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chennai, Rajasthan and Aurangabad.
