Sivasagar MLA Akhil Gogoi denounced the detention of Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia on February 27. Gogoi further said that this revealed the hypocritical attitude of the BJP.
Akhil Gogoi Opposes Manish Sisodia’s Arrest
It is mentioned the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) detained Manish Sisodia on February 26 in connection with allegations of corruption in the implementation of the excise policy.
“I vehemently condemn Manish Sisodia’s detention and demand his immediate release. Arresting the leaders of other parties just reveals the hypocritical attitude of the BJP,” Akhil Gogoi stated.
In the meantime, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann met with Manish Sisodia’s family at their residence.
