The official announcement has finally come that the first Vande Bharat train for Northeast is going to be operational from May 14 next.
Vande Bharat Train For Northeast To Operate
The officials of the Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) disclosed that the first Vande Bharat train in the NE will formally operate between Guwahati and New Jalpaiguri on May 14.
It is not clear as yet whether Prime Minister Narendra Modi will come to Guwahati for the inauguration or do it virtually from Delhi.
It is mentioned the list of stations at which Vande Bharat train will stop between Guwahati to New Jalpaiguri is expected to be disclosed soon.
A press release issued by NF Railway stated IRCTC & NF Railway will operate its first Bharat Gaurav Tourist Train from Dibrugarh on May 27.
