Study conducted by a Gurugram-based institute declares the Northeast Indian state of Mizoram as the happiest state of India.
Mizoram Is Happiest State
The unique social structure of the state is the main reason for enhancing the happiness level among the young population.
Some of the key parameters include family dynamics, professional concerns, societal matters and philanthropy, religious beliefs, the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic on happiness, both physical and mental well-being, and the relationship between the students and their teachers.
The study also mentioned that the youth of Mizoram, irrespective of their gender work towards financial independence from an early age. There is a very high number of broken families in the state.
However, they see no reason to live together in any unhealthy setting since people prefer to be financially independent.
