Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the President of Ukraine, has written to Narendra Modi, the Prime Minister of India, asking for additional humanitarian aid for the war-devastated country.

The letter from Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Prime Minister of India asked humanitarian aid including medical equipment and medicines. It is mentioned this is the first official visit by a Ukrainian Minister to India since the war between Ukraine and Russia began.
India had sent humanitarian aid to the country. The President of Ukraine had called Narendra Modi to thank him for the same.
Ukraine had asked India several times to pressurise Russia, however, India maintained its position calling for an immediate ceasefire between the two. Notably, India has never failed to send consignments of humanitarian aid to countries, be it war-affected Ukraine or earthquake-affected Turkey and Syria.
