The Board for Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) on Monday officially announced the squad for the upcoming Zimbabwe series.
Rising cricket sensation Riyan Parag has been included in the national team setup to take on Zimbabwe later this year.

With this historic inclusion, Riyan Parag becomes the first ever from Assam to put on the men’s national team jersey.
The squad, led by Shubman Gill, includes a blend of experienced players and promising talents.
Alongside Parag, Punjab’s Abhishek Sharma, Hyderabad’s Nitish Kumar Reddy and Mumbai’s Tushar Deshpande have earned their maiden call-up in the Indian team.
The series, scheduled from July 6 to 14, will see India facing Zimbabwe in a 5-match T20I series in Harare. This tour follows the conclusion of the ongoing ICC T20 World Cup.
