Assam CM Appointed As Election In-Charge For Jharkhand Assembly Polls

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has appointed election in-charges for four states where Assembly polls are scheduled for later this year. 

Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma, along with Union minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan have been appointed as the party’s election in-charges for the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly polls.

BJP Appoints Election In-Charges For Four States For Assembly Polls

The BJP appointed Union ministers Bhupendra Yadav and Ashwani Vaishnaw as in-charge and co-incharge for Maharashtra, while Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan and lawmaker from Tripura, Biplab Deb have been appointed as in-charge and co-incharge for Haryana.

On the other hand, Telangana MP G Kishan Reddy has been appointed as the BJP election in-charge for Jammu and Kashmir polls.

The Assembly polls in Jharkhand are expected to be held around November-December this year to elect 81 members of the Jharkhand Legislative Assembly.
