Assam: Late SI Junmoni Rabha’s Mother Withdraws Case Related To Her Death Citing Personal Reasons

Late Assam Police Sub Inspector Junmoni Rabha’s mother Sumitra Rabha on Thursday withdrew the case she had filed at the Jakhalabandha Police Station in Nagaon. She while withdrawing the case cited that she was no longer able to pursue the case.

Junmoni Rabha’s Mother Withdraws Case Due To Inability To Pursue

The cases related to Junmoni Rabha’s death were being investigated by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), it had earlier reached a conclusion that she died in an accident.

Junmoni Rabha who was said to have died in an accident did not have any visible signs on her body that indicated that she died in an accident that involved a truck crashing into her vehicle.

The CBI took over the case from the Crime Investigation Department (CID) on June 14 after Assam Director General of Police (DGP) GP Singh visited the CBI office in Delhi to discuss the case.
