Chargesheet Filed Against Sukanya Bora In Disproportionate Assets Case
The 1,133-page chargesheet was filed against Sukanya Bora, who has been in judicial custody since January.
In the statement, the Superintendent of Police, Chief Minister’s special vigilance cell announced the initiation of a regular inquiry based on media reports alleging rampant corruption and misappropriation under MPLAD funds of Rajya Sabha MP Ajit Kumar Bhuyan for 2021-22 and 2022-23.
During that time period, Sukanya Bora served as the Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) and was responsible for overseeing the role of District Development Commissioner (DDC) for Kamrup Metropolitan district.
