A delegation of Assam Cabinet Ministers led by Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma will visit the newly consecrated Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh on February 22.
Ram Lalla Established In Ram Temple On January 22
This was decided in a meeting of the state cabinet chaired by Himanta Biswa Sarma on January 22.
The Ram Temple consecration was held on January 22 with Prime Minister Narendra Modi leading the rituals.
The meeting expressed its heartfelt gratitude to PM Modi and greetings to the people of India on the occasion of ‘Pram Pratistha’ of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya.
“The entire cabinet will pay a solemn visit to Ayodhya on February 22 for darshan of Ram Lalla,” PHED Minister and official spokesperson Jayanta Mallabaruah told the media after the cabinet meeting.
The cabinet also gave its nod for setting up a new state university- Swahid Kanaklata Baruah University at Gohpur, with the draft bill to be placed before the assembly in the next session.
