The results for the High School Leaving Certificate (HSLC) examination 2024, held from February 16 to March 4, 2024, were officially declared on Saturday.
Anurag Doloi From Jorhat Tops HSLC Examination With 593 Marks
A record 75.7 pass percentage was recorded in the HSLC examination 2024 conducted by the SEBA recently.
A total of 4,19,078 lakh students appeared for the HSLC examination. Of the total students, who appeared in the HSLC examination, 3,17,317 cleared the examination.
Of the 3,17,317 students who cleared the HSLC examination, 1,45,263 are male, 1,72,046 are female and 8 are transgender.
Chirang emerged as the best district in Assam with 91.2 pass percentage, followed by Nalbari at 88.1%, and Baksa at 86.9%.
Anurag Doloi from Pragya Academy Senior Secondary School, Jorhat tops the examination with 593 marks, followed by Jharna Saikia from Shankardev Shishu Vidya Niketan, Biswanath Chariali with 590 marks, Manash Pratim Saikia from Island Academy, Kamalabari, Majuli with 588 marks, Bedanta Choudhury from Stella Maris School, Sarupeta, Barpeta with 588 marks, and Devashree Kashyap from Ramanujan Senior Secondary School, Nagaon with 588 marks.
