Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma called the Gandhi family “Amul babies” while targetting Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.
Gandhi Family Would Suit More In Amul Campaign: Assam CM
The Chief Minister told the media that there was no crowd at the rally carried out by Priyanka Gandhi Vadra in Jorhat, Assam. He claimed that there were hardly 2000-3000 people at the rally.
“Who would go to see Priyanka Gandhi Vadra? People would instead go to Kaziranga to see rhinos and tigers. Their time would be more productive,” he said.
“There is no benefit in seeing the Gandhi family. They are Amul babies. They would suit more in the Amul campaign,” CM Sarma added.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra addressed a massive gathering during the roadshow in Jorhat. In a direct attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, she criticized his handling of the unemployment crisis, alleging that he failed to adequately address the issue in a recent interview.
